Nanochlor – Bulk Water, and Portable Water Effervescent Tablets

For over a century Chlorine has been widely used as a disinfectant to kill water-borne viruses and bacteria, including for the treatment of drinking water, and for cleaning and washing of fruit and vegetables. Chlorination of water remains a worldwide-accepted method of disinfection and purification of water for human consumption. Over time, Chlorine Tablets have proven highly effective for inexpensive, economical, and convenient purification of drinking water. Life magazine cited Chlorine tablets as “the most significant public health advance of the millennium”, credited them with eliminating outbreaks of waterborne diseases including typhoid, cholera, and hepatitis.

Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC or SDIC) tablets represent an advanced method to deliver free available chlorine for water purification. Also known as Sodium Troclosene, it is an organic chlorine donor that yields hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and monosodiumcyanurate (NaOCl) in a slightly acidic use-solution when mixed with water. These two ingredients remain in a constant 50-50 ratio in the use-solution, so that as part of the free chlorine is used up (due to reaction with bacteria, organic material etc), part of the combined chlorine in the NaOCl is freed to restore the 50-50 ratio and continue the disinfecting process.

Nanochlor Effervescent Tablets combine the power of Hypochlorous Acid (HOCL) – a molecule naturally produced in our bodies to fight pathogens – and Nano Silver Particles (AgNP), thus delivering the fast acting, effective disinfection of HOCl, along with the lasting protection of AgNP. The Nano Silver in Nanochlor Effervescent Tablets is in the form of nano particles (<20nm) uniformly dotted onto the surface of a unique carrier molecule of 400-580nm. The Nano Silver particles “deactivate” pathogens by blocking their metabolic processes, thus delivering strong antimicrobial (anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal) properties, The unique Nano format delivers exponentially higher available silver surface area versus conventional colloidal silver, and the size of the carrier molecule ensures that our Nano Silver is non-cytotoxic.

All ingredients in Nanochlor products are WHO, Unicef and EPA approved.

Action of Nanochlor Water Purification Tablets

Nanochlor Effervescent Tablets dissolve in water, quickly establishing a 50-50 ratio of hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and monosodiumcyanurate (NaOCl) that can begin to disinfect immediately. For best results allow 30 minutes for the HOCl to act against present pathogens. While Chlorine in water may be harsh against the disease-causing bacteria it is good to know that it gets neutralized in our bodies when consumed.
